MEETING OF OFFICE BEARERS, DIRECTORS AND CHAIRMEN OF VARIOUS COMMITTEES
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF CLUB OFFICERS.

Good fellowship enjoyed between 9.30 - 10 over breakfast.

Kudos to club members, who turned up in big numbers in spite of lovely rains dictating a lazy lingering sunday morning with family.

Pres Ashok greeted the members and gave his opening remarks. He stressed the point that each director and chairperson must be more involved in the club activities as he will be following the delegation of duties model rather than 'one man army' model.

IPP Manish then explained in lucid details, with the help of pp presentation, the Club Leadership Plan, what is an effective club, the concept of new standing committees, how projects should be planned, nurtured and executed.

PP Chetan in his inimitable style described the areas of action for each office bearer. the pp was very painstakingly prepared being precise and also naming and having a photograph of the person concerned.

some of the random comments and suggestions:-
our club needs to improve in international service
we need to apply for more matching grants
we need to apply for district grants
each person must of given xerox from district directory of officials of his avenue of service.
at least one formal meeting each quarter for each standing committee
for benefit of new members circulate abbreviations used in rotary.
