Good fellowship enjoyed between 8.00 - 8.30
Sergeant Jayesh requested President Ashok to start the meeting and collared him.
The meeting was called to order and the National Anthem was sung. Pres Ashok
welcomed the members and guests and requested PP Prakash to escort the chief
guest CA Durgesh Kabra to the dias. The Rotary formalities followed- Details of
projects, birthdays and anniversaries. Special mention was made of the
motivation article by PP Prakash appearing in today's Janmabhumi
Rtn Mahesh made a presentation of the achievements of the Dr S.S.Pandya Loan
Scholarship. He appealed to the members to donate generously to the same.
1st July is the Foundation day of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of
India. A novel idea - all the CAs of the club, 14 in all, were felicitated - PP
Prakash gave fitting response on behalf of all the CAs
Rtn Ajay Jain introduced the speaker. CA Durgesh nicely brought out the benefits
of Chartered Accountancy as a professional course and career.
After the secretarial announcement and vote of thank the Pres adjourned the
meeting at 9.40 pm and invited all for dinner.
