Dear Host Parents/Club and District Youth Exchange Officers/Advisors,
Thanks and compliments for making 10 July, 2011 orientation meeting a grand
success.
I sent my son as a BOY for Rotary Youth Exchange Programme for one year to
Germany and got a MAN back were
the words of Faiyaz, father of rebound student
Al-Azhar who went to Germany
for a Long term exchange. Immediate Past RYE Chair Ramon and Baku expressed
their gratitude to the rebounds, host parents and District RYE team of
2010-11 in the morning session.
The orientation started at 3 pm with more
than 110 people attentively
listening to the experienced RYE veterans. Interactive question and answer
session was the highlight of the orientation.

I take this opportunity to express my sincere gratitude to DG Vijay,
Immediate Past RYE Chair Ramon, panel of excellent speakers comprising of
Chief Protection Officer CDG Rahul, Advisor Vinay, Advisor Chittu, PP
Prafull, PP Smriti, Inbound coordinator Radhika for their comprehensive
coverage of various aspects of hosting an inbound student.
Special thanks to District RYE
officer Bhavik Mehta for his
wonderful gesture of gifting an Indian flag and pins to all the parents of
outbound students.
Kudos to President Sandip Porecha (RC Bombay Northwest) and President Ajay
Gandhi of (RC Borivli) for hosting this important district event.
