With untiring efforts of our Project Chair Rajendra Kinariwala, Co-Chair
Mukesh Thakkar alongwith family of RC of Borivli, Inner Wheel club of
Borivli, Rotaract Club of Mmbai Borivli and Team Project Katha we are
getting over whelming response in our seven day project. We had an
unbelievable crowd of over 5000 people on Sunday (April 21st). Its
direct PR of Rotary and our Eye Bank to masses. Language newspapers are
carrying the news of this event every day, there is Live telecast every
day on cable for the residents who are living between Goregaon and
Dahisar.
Under Community project, we had complete Eye Check up facility. Over 100
people of all age group used the facilities. Team of Doctors along with
mobile check up van was in service from 9am till 4 pm (on 22nd April).
We were happy to receive Rtns from District / other clubs yesterday -
Rtn Shashi Sharma, Rtn Sunil Haribal, Prez Jay Karia and Rtn Nitesh
Karia ( both from RC of Kalyan), Rtn
Jatin Parekh ( he is regular every day at the venue). Family for RC of
Borivli is thankful to all visitors and supporters for this noble cause.
This mega event will continue at Ekta Ground, Borivli West till 23 th
April between 3and 7 pm, on last day ie on 24th
April the program
will be in the morning
between 9am and 1pm.
