Rotary Club of Borivli Charitable Trust

Rotary Club of Borivli Charitable Trust was created by two settlers -

Rtn. Dr. Bharat Pandya and Rtn. Prakaash Desai on 25-6-2001.

The trust is a public charitable trust registered under The Bombay Public Trust Act, 1950 vide registration No. E-19873 (Mumbai) Dated 18-12-2001.

Donation to trust is entitled for deduction from taxable income under section 80 G of Income tax Act, 1961.

The trust has been issued Income tax exemption certificate – No.

DIT(E)/IMC/ 80G/577/2006/2006-07 dt. 11/12/2006 valid from 1-04-2006 To 31-03-2009.( For donation )

Object of the Trust

The main object of the Trust is to serve the society for charitable purposes such as Education, Medical Relief, Community Development, Health, Relief of Poverty, Relief to Distress or any other object of general public charitable purpose.

Activities carried out

During the brief period of last 3 years the trust has carried out many activities for the benefit of the public at large. The notable amongst the activities carried out are Polio Corrective Surgery, Up gradation of Pediatric Ward at Bhagwati Municipal Hospital- Borivli(W), Polio immunization etc.
