Dear Rotarians,
Being busy does not always mean real work. The object of all work is
production or accomplishment and to either of these ends there must be
forethought, system, planning, intelligence, and honest purpose, as well as
perspiration. Seeming to do is not doing. PE Mudrak, had planned a
PLANNING session called YOJANA for activities for next rotary year and
called every Board members (2012-13) at a unique venue at National park
Bunglow No. 5/6. This planning session was well conducted by CT Umesh Soni.
It was a lovely Sunday morning, while people were relaxing and enjoying the
Holiday at home, Incoming BOD for year 2012-13 had something different in
their mind to plan and do something fruitful for forthcoming Rotary year.
Now-a-days mercury in the city in the rising mood, but this location did not
moved by it and during the entire day, it was nice and cool weather at
National Park. Cool Breeze helped everyone plan and discuss their views
about different projects. The members present were PE Mudrak Lalaji, CT
Umesh Soni, PN Mayank Desai, SD Ashish Tapiawala, Mukesh Thakkar, Pramod
Sampat, Haresh Abhani, Ashwin Gala, Hemant Asher, Lalit Jadav, Harish
Chandarana, Sushil Mistry, Rajul Pathak, Rashmikant Sanghavi, Rajendra
Tamhane, Chetan Joshi.
After the breakfast, all members were seated under the trees to discuss and
express their views for activities to be carried out during the entire year
starting 1st July, 2012. PE Mudrak and Club Trainer Umeshbhai prepared a
well documented Avenuewise visionary plans for forthcoming Rotary year
2012-13. They also prepared previous three year's accounts comparison chart
in properly organized and easily understandable format. It indeed helped all
directors to decide upon budget for new and continuous on-going projects of
the club. The forum started with discussing activities - Avenue wise and
respective director's view was taken. Though it was Avenuewise, all members
present their taken keen interest in all avenues and their projects and
helped each director to plan their projects and how to proceed to make them
a grand success.
The planning session went until 6 PM and nobody realized how the day passed
away. 6 pm to 9 pm was a special joint session with Club jewels (PPs) to ask
their guidance and views about the planning done by Team 2012-13. Most of
PPs were present and their precise remarks surely will help all directors to
execute their projects smoothly. Their experience will be assets for all
directors in their course of action. To guide Team 2012-13 PPs present were
Prafull Sharma, Rajendra Kinariwala, Vinay Vyas, Chetan Desai, Hemant Mehta,
Vijay Palkar, Manish Gyani, Sanjeev Shah, Ashok Shetty, Nitin Majithia.
Pres. Ajay Gandhi also joined the session to express his views.
I am sure this day-night long session will help all directors to think
differently to successfully execute all planned projects and emerge as
Champions at the end of the Year 2012-13.
Special compliments to organizing team of Mayank Desai, Ashwin Gala, Hemant
Asher and Sushil Mistry for wonderful arrangements of Food and beverages for
the entire session. Also compliments to Chetan Joshi (Seargent-at-Arms -
2012-13) for doing wonderful job at the venue.
