First meeting for the year 2012-13 was attended by members in
good nos. All were welcomed by a drink and delicious starter.
Today a new concept was introduced in club. PP Rajendra
Kinariwala was a Greeter and greeting one and all present there.
As soon as the meeting called to order by Pres. Mudrak, he
explained concept and duties of Greeter and also gave a small
briefing of What is Club Services in Rotary ? and What we do in
RC Borivli under this avenue ?
Pres. Mudrak started the meeting with
briefing of how planning, training and preparation took place
with all directors before the year begins and projects done so
far.
Sergeant-at-arms Chetan Joshi introduced
today's chief guest and speaker PDG Raju Subramanian in very
crisp and well crafted manner. As usual PDG Raju Subramanian
spoke well on topic "Peace through Service". He
explained the thought and deeper meaning of Peace through
Service and how one can make a difference in the world through
inner Peace. This was followed by Q&A.
Following Secretarial announcement, Vote of thanks was delivered
by Avinash Gujrathi.
The meeting was started sharp at 8:30pm
and ended at 9:40pm. Again compliments to all members for the
support. We expect same in future to make our club "On-time
Club".

Rotarians, 5 R'Anns, 5 guests and prospective members.
